Hello!

Here are this week's English tips.

- Would you like some coffee?

- Oh, yes. Please.

- Here you are. And how would you like it? Sugar, sweetener?

- Nothing, please.  Thank you.

- And may I offer you some water?

- Yes, thank you.

- Do you prefer sparkling or still?

- Sparkling, please. Thank you.

- Certainly.

We cannot count coffee. We count cups of coffee. Therefore, we cannot say 'Would you like a coffee'. We should say 'some coffee'.

The same goes for water. We cannot count water. We count glasses of water. Therefore, we should say 'some water'.

Sweetener = adoçante

Sparkling = com gás

Still = sem gás
